API and integrations
Connect your warehouse program to Autobaza with an API key: who needs it, how to create a key, which permissions exist and how to keep it safe.
The API is for yards that already keep stock in their own program and do not want to type anything twice. Your program (or its vendor) can read and send parts and vehicles straight into Autobaza and, optionally, read orders. If you keep stock in Excel, the import is enough; see the import and export article.
Who needs it
- You have a warehouse program or ERP and its vendor can build an integration.
- You change stock several times a day (prices, quantities, sold parts).
- You want orders passed into your system automatically.
How to create a key
Open “API i integracije”
Postavke → “API i integracije”. Only the owner manages keys, and it is not possible in assisted mode.
“Novi API ključ”
Enter a name (for example “Program za skladište”), choose the permissions and confirm with your password.
Copy the key
You see the key only once. Copy it immediately and store it somewhere safe.
Give it to your vendor
Send the key together with the link to “Dokumentacija API-ja” (API documentation).
Key permissions

Usage and limits
The key is sent in the header Authorization: Bearer abk_…. The limit is 120 requests per minute per key. Parts are identified by your own code (external_id, 1 to 64 characters), as in the import, so the same piece is not duplicated. New parts are created as drafts by default. You can have at most 5 active keys. The technical documentation (in English) is at /api-docs.

- Give each system its own key so you can revoke one without interrupting the others.
- You see “Zadnje korišten” (last used) for every key. Revoke unused keys.
- “Opozovi” (revoke) immediately cuts off every program using that key.
- Never email a key or commit it to a public repository.
I lost the key.
It cannot be shown again. Revoke it and create a new one.
Can my employee create a key?
No, only the store owner.
Can the API publish a part immediately?
You can set the status to draft, active or paused. Active listings need a connected Stripe account.
