How Autobaza works
What Autobaza is, who does what, what it costs and how money reaches you. A short overview before you start.
Autobaza is a Croatian marketplace for used car parts. You stay the seller: you sell in your own name and for your own account, while we bring you buyers, run payments and help with orders. There is no monthly subscription; you only pay when a part sells.
Who does what
| You (the yard) | Autobaza | The buyer |
|---|---|---|
| Enter vehicles and parts, take photos, set prices, ship parts and issue the fiscal receipt. | Shows your listings, runs the cart and payment (Stripe), sends notifications and calculates the commission. | Searches by vehicle or OEM number, pays by card or cash on delivery, can message you and leave a review. |
From listing to money
Enter the part
Add the donor vehicle (say a 2008 Golf V) and list parts from it. The fastest routes are “Brzi unos” (quick intake) on your phone or an import from Excel.
A buyer orders
The buyer pays by card or cash on delivery. You get a notification and the order appears under Narudžbe (Orders). You must ship within 2 working days.
You ship it
Hand the parcel to the courier, then choose “Označi poslano” on the order and enter the carrier and tracking number. The buyer gets an email.
Money arrives
Card payments go straight to your Stripe account minus our fee, and Stripe pays them out to your IBAN. With cash on delivery the courier collects the cash for you and you pay the commission monthly by bank transfer.
What it costs
The fee applies only to parts that sell. For a card payment it is 8% of the parts price plus the card cost (1.5% + €0.25), with a minimum of €1.50 per order. For cash on delivery it is 8% of the parts price, also with a €1.50 minimum, and no card cost. Shipping is not part of the 8%.

Terms
6 terms
- Cash on delivery (pouzeće)
- The buyer pays the courier in cash. The commission is paid separately on a monthly invoice.
- Donor vehicle
- A vehicle you are dismantling. Every part links to it, so buyers see the year, engine and mileage.
- Draft (skica)
- A part that is saved but not yet public. You publish it when you are ready.
- OEM number
- The manufacturer part number. Buyers search by it and compatibility is derived from it.
- Ship-by deadline
- 2 working days after payment. After it the order is flagged “Kasni” (late).
- Stripe
- The licensed payment provider that receives card payments and pays them out to your IBAN.
Do I have to stop selling elsewhere?
No. Autobaza is not exclusive. Just mark a part as sold here when you sell it elsewhere, so you never sell the same piece twice.
Who issues the receipt to the buyer?
You do, from your own invoicing software. Autobaza is not the seller. See the article on receipts and fiscalisation.
Who is responsible for warranty and returns?
You, as the seller, under the terms you set in your store. Autobaza technically processes the refund to the buyer once you approve a request.
